The short version: we collect as little as we can get away with, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete what we have.
What we collect
- Standard server logs. Requests to this site are logged with the page, the time, and the browser's user agent.
- Affiliate clicks. When you use a partner link we record which link, when, and the page you came from, along with a truncated network address — the last portion is discarded, so it counts clicks without identifying you.
- Newsletter email. Only if you give it to us, and only to send what you asked for. One-click unsubscribe on every send.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers or data brokers on this site.
- Our calculators run entirely in your browser. Numbers you type into them are never transmitted to us or stored anywhere.
Third parties
This site is served through Cloudflare, which processes requests on our behalf and keeps its own logs. Embedded videos are loaded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, which avoids setting tracking cookies unless you press play. Once you follow a partner link you are on that company's site and its privacy policy applies, not ours.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
